Your PTS I.D. card is also your library card. PTS students, faculty, and staff have access to the University of Tulsa's McFarlin Library. A TU I.D. card is necessary to access the resources at McFarlin, and can be obtained at no cost. ^^top
The due date for regular circulating books is FOUR WEEKS from date
of checkout. The last day of classes is the final due date each semester
regardless of the date checked out. The Library reserves the right to limit
the number of books to be checked out.
Renewals
No renewals will be allowed after one four week check-out period.
^^top
Overdue fines are 10 cents per day, per book, on regular circulating
books. No fines are charged for days the library is closed. All fines are
due at the time the books are returned. Students who pay fines due on regular
circulating items at the time they are returned will be charged only one-half
of the total fine.
Unpaid Fines and/or Overdue/Lost
Books
The person who checks out library materials is responsible for the return
of those items. An overdue notice will be sent for unreturned items.
Patrons with any unresolved overdue items will be charged for the items as lost (minimum $50.00 each) and the fine due (maximum $10.00 each). Borrowing privileges will be suspended or possibly even withdrawn. ^^top
The Circulation Desk closes fifteen (15) minutes before the posted library closing. All materials must be checked out before the Desk closes. ^^top
Upon leaving the library, patrons should be aware that the security system alarm will be activated by library items that are not properly charged out. Please be certain that all library materials are properly charged out or turned in at the Circulation Desk prior to leaving. ^^top
These are shelved in the reading area of the library and may be checked out for their designated periods. ^^top
