Academic Programs
Introduction
Phillips Theological Seminary offers three master's degrees:
- A Master of Divinity,
- A Master in Theological Studies, and
- A Master of Arts in Ministry and Culture.
We also offer a Doctor of Ministry degree focused around the theme of Pastoral Leadership.
Four tracks are available:
- Care and Counseling offered every year
- Homiletics offered in January 2008 and June 2010
- Church and Society offered in June 2008 and June 2011
- Spiritual Formation offered in June 2009 and June 2012
We provide a Certificate in Graduate Theological Studies as an enrichment opportunity for persons who do not anticipate the completion of a graduate degree program, but wish to enhance their understanding of Christian faith and practice and aspects of lay leadership within the church..
