Alumni News

Dear Alumni/ae

Greetings in the name of Christ, the church universal, and Phillips Theological Seminary

On behalf of the PTS Alumni Association, I welcome you to this site and encourage you to give us your feedback on how we may better represent you.  The purpose of our Association is to "promote understanding of, pride in, and support of our alma mater and its mission."

As you surely know, things are changing at PTS.  We have a wonderful new facility, several new professors, and for the first time in many years, our entire collection of books is finally in one location!  While many things have changed at the seminary, one thing has remained the same.  Phillips Theological Seminary still offers a first-class education to women and men preparing for Christian ministry in many different denominations.

I attended PTS during its years of "wandering in the wilderness", between the school's historic location in Enid, Oklahoma and its present home in Tulsa.  While I am very pleased that our wandering has ended, in fact, our journey is only just beginning.  God has led us out of the wilderness and across the river (Mingo Creek, actually) into the promised land.  We have much to do.  As our student body continues to grow, we will need to add more professors, classes, and creatively explore what it means to educate the ministers of tomorrow.

It is truly a privilege to serve as the President of the PTS Alumni Board in this exciting time.  I hope you will join me as we look to the future and support our seminary with our prayers, presence, gifts, and service.

Grace and Peace

Rev. James B. Graham III
Alumni Board President

Support a current student in prayer!

Remember how it helped you to have a prayer partner in seminary --especially when final papers were due? Now is your opportunity to do that for someone else.

If you would like to be a prayer partner with a current student, simply contact

Become an Active Member of the PTS Alumni Association

We would love to have you! It's easy! We collect no dues or fees. We simply ask that you give money to support the continuing work and mission of PTS, so those who come after us might be able to receive what we did. That's it! Isn't that something you would support?

Write the seminary c/o Connie Inglish and send your support. Tell her you want to be an active member of the Alumni Association. She will make sure you receive notice of all upcoming Alumni events.
